Farizon EV Charging & V2L Cables

Farizon's electric vans get bought to work, and vehicle-to-load is a large part of why.

The cable below pulls mains power back out of the battery, so a crew can run tools on a site with no supply at all. It connects to the Type 2 port and finishes in a standard three-pin socket rated to 3.6kW, which covers battery chargers, task lighting and small power tools across a working day. On a commercial yard the charging post is rarely where you actually want it, so if you are buying a Type 2 to Type 2 lead for the van as well, buy the longer one.

Which Farizon?

We'll preselect the variant that fits.

We read your charge port, max AC rate and phase from DVLA data, then take you to the exact variant.

Choosing the right cable for your Farizon

The Farizon SV is an electric van built by a Geely subsidiary and sold in Britain through commercial dealers. Like any van it gets charged wherever the shift ended, and unlike most it can also supply mains power, which is genuinely useful on a work vehicle.

Connector spec by model

  • SV (2024+): Type 2 + CCS. Up to 11kW AC. Battery options from around 67kWh to 106kWh. V2L supported.

Vehicle-to-load on a working van

Running mains tools from the van battery removes the need for a generator on sites without power. That uses a V2L discharge cable, which is a different product from a charging lead and does the opposite job. We stock a Farizon V2L cable, listed in our V2L adapter range. The two are not interchangeable and most operators end up wanting both.

Charging a 106kWh van

On a single-phase 7.4kW supply that is around fourteen hours from empty, which is longer than an overnight stop for a two-shift operation. Where a depot has three-phase power the 22kW lead lets the van reach its 11kW ceiling and brings that to about ten hours. For fleets that is an operational decision rather than a preference.

Build matters more than rating

Our Type 2 leads are run-over proof and IP55 sealed. On a van charged in a yard among other vehicles, that specification determines how long the cable lasts far more than its amperage does.

Length recommendations

15m or 20m for a van. The V2L lead is a separate length decision, driven by where the tools are rather than where the charger is. Compare across our Type 2 charging cables.

What we stock for Farizon

  • Type 2 to Type 2 cables from 5m to 20m, including the 22kW three-phase lead for depots.
  • A Farizon V2L discharge cable for running mains tools from the van.
  • Type 2 to 3-pin Mode 2 leads for sites without a charger.

Questions

What cable does the Farizon SV need?
A Type 2 lead. The 32amp single-phase cable on an ordinary supply, or the 22kW three-phase lead where a depot has three-phase power.
Can I run tools from the van?
Yes. The SV supports vehicle-to-load, which needs a V2L discharge cable rather than a charging lead. We stock one for Farizon.
Are the charging and V2L cables interchangeable?
No. One takes power into the van, the other takes it out. Most operators end up wanting both.
How long does a full charge take?
Around fourteen hours from empty on a single-phase 7.4kW supply for the largest battery, or about ten on three-phase.
What length should I buy?
15m or 20m for a van, since it gets charged wherever the shift ended rather than at a fixed bay.
