EV Cable Hub is a small, opinionated retailer of EV charging cables and accessories. Every connector, every length, every brand worth carrying — and a long list we deliberately don't.
Jake Wardle founded the business in 2026 after spending two years hunting for a Type 2 cable he could trust and not finding one. The UK charging-cable market was — and largely still is — a chaos of marketplace listings, mystery suppliers and warranties that vanished the moment something broke.
Every cable we stock has a three-year minimum manufacturer warranty (we help you claim), same-day dispatch on orders before 4 pm, and a help desk staffed by people who know EV charging.
That's the entire idea. Fewer choices, better choices, and an honest answer when you call.

II — How we choose
Four tests. Pass them all,
or you don't make the shelf.

Compliance first
We only list EV charging products that meet the legal and safety standards for sale in the UK — CE/UKCA marking and the relevant IEC standards (including IEC 61851-1). If a product doesn't carry the right certification from its manufacturer, it doesn't go on the site.

Manufacturer-tested
Our products are manufactured, tested and certified by the brands that make them. We favour suppliers who publish independent test data — cold-soak, water-ingress (IP rating) and plug-cycle durability — and who stand behind their products.

Warranty & support
Before we list a product we check the manufacturer's warranty terms and how they handle problems, so there's a real route to support if something goes wrong.

Warranty & returns
Every product comes with the manufacturer's warranty — three years minimum on cables, often longer. We'll help you raise a claim, and our 30-day returns apply to any unused item.

IV — Sustainability
The most sustainable
charger is the one you
don't have to replace.
We refuse products with sealed-shut housings, glued batteries, or single-source proprietary plugs. Everything we stock is repairable, has parts available for at least ten years, and can be fully recycled at end of life. We don't run sales. We don't manufacture artificial scarcity. We sell things that should last.
