Seat EV & Hybrid Charging Cables
A short, three-cable selection for Seat drivers. Seat's plug-in models sold in the UK use the Type 2 standard shared across the Volkswagen Group, so a Type 2 to Type 2 lead is what you need for home and public AC charging.
Two things decide the rest. Length: 5m for a normal driveway, 10m if the bay is not directly beside the charger. Power: 7.4kW is the practical maximum on a standard UK domestic supply. Free next-working-day delivery on orders over £150, and 30 days to change your mind.

Choosing the right cable for your Seat
Seat's electric future moved across to Cupra, which leaves the Seat badge covering a discontinued city car and a pair of plug-in hybrids. Both halves are undemanding to charge, and the Mii in particular is a car most owners bought used.
Connector spec by model
- Mii Electric (2020-2021): Type 2 + CCS. 7.2kW AC. 36.8kWh. 40kW DC.
- Leon e-Hybrid: Type 2. 3.6kW AC. 12.8kWh.
- Tarraco e-Hybrid: Type 2. 3.6kW AC. 12.8kWh.
Replacing a Mii Electric cable
The Mii was built alongside the Volkswagen e-up and Skoda Citigo-e, and all three share the same Type 2 arrangement. It was discontinued after barely a year, so used examples frequently arrive without the original lead. A 32amp single-phase Type 2 to Type 2 cable is the correct replacement, and there is nothing Seat-specific about it.
The plug-in hybrids are 3.6kW cars
A Leon e-Hybrid accepts 3.6kW into 12.8kWh, so it is a little under four hours from empty. The 16amp cable is the whole of what the car can use. This is one of the ranges where a 3-pin Mode 2 lead is a perfectly reasonable primary charger rather than a backup, because the battery is small enough that a household socket keeps up with daily use.
The Mii is short and that helps
At under 3.6 metres long, the Mii's charge port is rarely far from a wallbox. 5m is often enough, which is unusual on this site and worth taking advantage of.
Length recommendations
5m for a Mii on a driveway, 10m if you rely on public bays or have a Leon or Tarraco parked further out. Compare across our Type 2 charging cables.
