Overview
Mains power from your Maxus eDeliver 3
The eDeliver 3 is a compact city van, and V2L means it can run kit at a job with no power. Plug this lead in to charge tool batteries or run a work light.
Switching it on
Plug it into the Type 2 charge port, then choose the discharge option on the vehicle's display.
What it will run
Output depends on the vehicle model. A 60W laptop charger, a 45W cool box and LED lights are easy jobs. Anything that heats, like a kettle or a fan heater, depends on what your vehicle is rated to supply, so check that figure before you plug one in. A UK 3-pin socket tops out at about 3kW whatever the vehicle.
Which car it fits
Maxus eDeliver 3 van. The car decides whether discharge is available, so the lead only works on models that support V2L. If you are unsure, our car finder will check your registration.
An important warning
A vehicle-to-load lead must never be connected to any other electrical system, such as a house, a caravan hook-up or a generator inlet. There is no voltage or phase synchronisation, so doing it can seriously damage both the car and the other system, and it will void your vehicle warranty.
The lead itself
- 16A cable, 3G1.5 conductor, 10.5mm diameter
- IP44: works in dusty conditions and resists splashes while connected, but must never sit in water
- Black, with a choice of outlet and lengths from 0.5m to 15m
- Keep the rubber dust cap on when it is stored, so grit and moisture stay out of the pins

Installation
- 01Park up and leave the car in the mode its handbook specifies for discharge.
- 02Plug the connector into the car's charge port until the latch clicks.
- 03Enable discharge on the car - the infotainment menu or the button on the connector, depending on the model. See Specifications for this one.
- 04Check the socket is live before you plug anything in, and keep the outlet end dry and off the ground.

10m and 5m cables for untethered charger use
Bought one 10m cable to use with an untethered wall charger at home. Very impressed with quality so bought a second 5m cable to keep in the van in case I needed to use an untethered charger when on the road. Cables are well made and sufficiently flexible to allow easy use. I particularly like the fact that there are covers fitted at both ends to keep the contacts clean when not in use - many cables only have a cover at one end. Customer service and prompt delivery were first rate.
