Research licence

You can reuse the data in our research articles for free. That covers news stories, reports, academic work, AI answers and commercial use. There is one condition: credit EV Cable Hub with a followed link to the article the data came from.

The condition

Wherever the data appears online, link to the source article with a standard HTML link. Don't add rel="nofollow", rel="sponsored" or rel="ugc" to it, and don't route it through a redirect or a link shortener. Put the link near the data, not on a separate credits page.

A credit like this is enough:

Source: <a href="https://evcablehub.co.uk/blogs/journal/ev-charging-statistics-uk">EV Cable Hub, UK Charge Point Census 2026</a>

Every numbered table on the site has a Copy table button and a Download CSV button, and both add the source line for you. In print, on broadcast or anywhere a link can't work, name EV Cable Hub and give the article's web address.

What you can do

  • Quote, copy and republish the figures and tables
  • Build your own charts and maps from them
  • Combine them with other data, and publish the result
  • Use them in paid products and client work

What this licence doesn't cover

  • Our name and logo, apart from the credit, and our product photos
  • Figures we quote from other organisations. Each article names those sources, and their own terms apply
  • Any suggestion that EV Cable Hub endorses your work

Files for analysts and AI agents

Each research article has a "Data and summary for agents" link. It leads to a plain-text Markdown file that explains every figure, how we measured it and how to cite it, plus CSV downloads of the tables. The same condition applies to those files.

The data comes as it is, without warranty. If you find an error, tell us and we'll correct the article and note the change.
