Overview
The Leapmotor C10 uses a Type 2 socket and a 6.6kW onboard charger. That last number is the one to hold on to, because it is lower than most cars on this site and it decides what you should buy.
An onboard charger is a ceiling. Hand the C10 a 22kW three-phase lead and it will still draw 6.6kW, because that is all its hardware can accept. The three-phase cable costs more and does nothing for you. Even the 32amp single-phase lead has headroom to spare. Buy for the car, not for the label on the cable.
Choosing your lead
- Type 2 to Type 2. The everyday lead. The 32amp version is the sensible pick and leaves room if you change car later.
- Type 2 to 3-pin. A Mode 2 lead for a household socket at 2.3kW. Slow, not a main charger, useful in the boot.
At 6.6kW a full charge from empty takes a little under eleven hours, so this is an overnight car rather than a top-up-in-an-hour one. Every cable is CE and TUV certified, IP55 rated, with a two-year warranty. Compare ratings across our Type 2 charging cables.

Features
-
Matched to the C10 charge port
The C10 charges through a Type 2 socket, and every cable here ends in the matching Type 2 connector.
-
6.6kW onboard is a hard ceiling
Give the car a 22kW lead and it still draws 6.6kW. The three-phase cable costs more and changes nothing on this model.
-
The 32amp single-phase lead is the sensible buy
It has headroom over what the car can take, and it still suits you if your next EV charges faster.
-
Around eleven hours from empty
69.9kWh at 6.6kW is an overnight charge. Plan around that rather than expecting a quick mid-day top-up at home.
Installation
- 01Unlock the car - most won't accept a cable while locked.
- 02Wallbox end first, then the car. Push until the latch clicks.
- 03Check the car shows a charging state before you walk away.
- 04Coil loosely into the bag - no tight figure-of-eights.

First class service
First class service. Ordered 15m cable and it was delivered next day. Minor hiccup in that the accompanying bag was missing. Quick email to Jake at EV Cable Hub and the bag arrived next working day. 1st class product and even better customer service. Thank you.
