Overview
Why our buyers chose Hyundai Ioniq EV Charging Cables.
Which EV Cable should i buy for my Hyundai Ioniq?
This depends on your situation, if you have a brand new Hyundai Ioniq and you don't have a charging station installed at home, then you would be better off buying a type 2 to 3-pin charging cable for your Hyundai Ioniq. This Hyundai Ioniq ev cable will plug straight into your domestic socket (If you are based in the UK). Alternatively, if you have a charging station installed, we would recommend a 32amp type 2 to type 2 Hyundai Ioniq charging cable. This will plug straight into your charging station and charge your car at the optimum rate. How do you charge a Hyundai Ioniq?
- Locate the charging port, which is usually located on the front left fender or the left side of the car. The charging port will have a green light that illuminates when the car is plugged in.
- Open the charging port cover by pressing the button on the charging port or by pulling the release handle.
- Connect the charging cable to the charging port, making sure it is securely plugged in.
- Plug the other end of the charging cable into a charging station. If you are using a public charging station, you may need to swipe a card or enter a code to start the charging process.
- The charging process will begin automatically, and the car's dashboard display will show the current charging status and estimated time to full charge.
- When the car is fully charged, the charging process will stop automatically. Disconnect the charging cable from the car and the charging station, and close the charging port cover.
How fast can a Hyundai Ioniq charge?
It is important to note that the charging time for the Hyundai Ioniq EV will depend on the type of charging station you are using and the state of the battery. Using an ev charging station, which is the most common type of charger for home use, it can take anywhere from 4-6 hours to fully charge the Ioniq EV.Specifications
