How long a cable does it take?
Up to a 10m charging cable. Anything longer is worth measuring first, or look at a bag rated for 15m leads.
Will it survive being kept in the boot?
That is what it is for. The hardback shell is sturdy enough to hold its shape with the boot loaded, and the zipped waterproof construction keeps the cable clean and dry.
Is it waterproof or just water resistant?
Fully waterproof, and dust and corrosion resistant with it. A wet cable can go straight in without soaking whatever else is in the boot.
