These Q7 e-Tron cables are designed with better ergonomics than the older pattern. A Type 2 plug goes into the vehicle end (IEC 62196) and a Type 2 plug into the charger unit end (IEC 62196). The cable will never charge faster than the maximum charging capacity your car can handle, so the vehicle stays in control of the rate. Use it at the office, in public bays or at home. Being TUV and CE certified, it is built for quality and efficiency, with rubber covers to keep the connectors safe and intact when the lead is not in use, and waterproof, dustproof construction throughout.

Three-phase option
Pick the 32A three-phase version to charge at up to 22kW where a three-phase supply is available. The single-phase versions charge at up to 7.2kW on a standard home wallbox.
Installation
- 01Unlock the car - most won't accept a cable while locked.
- 02Wallbox end first, then the car. Push until the latch clicks.
- 03Check the car shows a charging state before you walk away.
- 04Coil loosely into the bag - no tight figure-of-eights.
