Overview
Alfa Romeo sells two very different plug-in cars in Britain, and they want different things from a cable. The Junior Elettrica is a full EV on the Stellantis small-car platform. The Tonale is a plug-in hybrid with a battery a fraction of the size.
Both use a Type 2 socket, so one lead covers either. Where they part company is the rating you need. The Junior will take a 32amp single-phase feed and use all of it. The Tonale's onboard charger is smaller, and a plug-in hybrid battery is full long before an EV's would be, so the cheaper 16amp lead is rarely a limitation on one.
Choosing your lead
- Type 2 to Type 2. Fits both cars. 32amp if you have the Junior, either rating if you have the Tonale.
- Type 2 to 3-pin. A Mode 2 lead for a household socket, at 2.3kW.
Every cable is CE and TUV certified, IP55 rated, and carries a two-year warranty. Alfa Romeo shares its charging hardware with the rest of Stellantis, so the Fiat and Jeep pages use the same leads.

Features
-
One lead covers both Alfas
The Junior Elettrica and the Tonale plug-in hybrid both charge through a Type 2 socket, so the same cable fits either.
-
32amp for the Junior, either rating for the Tonale
The full EV will use a 32amp single-phase feed. The plug-in hybrid's smaller battery is full long before that matters.
-
Shared Stellantis hardware
Alfa uses the same charging arrangement as Fiat, Jeep, Peugeot and Vauxhall, so these leads are not Alfa-specific parts.

Measure from the charge port as the car sits when parked, then go slightly longer so you can park either way round.

First class service
First class service. Ordered 15m cable and it was delivered next day. Minor hiccup in that the accompanying bag was missing. Quick email to Jake at EV Cable Hub and the bag arrived next working day. 1st class product and even better customer service. Thank you.
