Overview
Abarth went electric with the 500e and 600e, and underneath the noise generator they are Fiat platforms with a Type 2 socket. The cable you need is the same one a 500e owner buys, which is to say an ordinary Type 2 to Type 2 lead.
These are small, quick cars with small batteries, and that shapes the sensible purchase. A 32amp single-phase lead fills either overnight with hours to spare. The three-phase cable exists for cars with much larger packs and properties with three-phase supplies, and an Abarth is neither.
Choosing your lead
- Type 2 to Type 2. The everyday lead. 5m if the charger is beside the car, 10m if it is not.
- Type 2 to 3-pin. A Mode 2 lead for a household socket at 2.3kW, useful away from home.
Every cable is CE and TUV certified, IP55 rated and carries a two-year warranty. The Fiat charging cables page covers the same platform.

Features
-
Matched to the Abarth charge port
Both electric Abarths charge through a Type 2 socket, and every cable here ends in the matching connector.
-
A small battery does not need a big cable
A 32amp single-phase lead fills either car overnight with hours to spare.
-
Same platform as the Fiat 500e
Abarth is a Fiat underneath, so these are the same leads rather than an Abarth-specific part.
-
5m to 20m
5m covers a charger beside the car, 10m covers most driveways and street bays.
Installation
- 01Unlock the car - most won't accept a cable while locked.
- 02Wallbox end first, then the car. Push until the latch clicks.
- 03Check the car shows a charging state before you walk away.
- 04Coil loosely into the bag - no tight figure-of-eights.

First class service
First class service. Ordered 15m cable and it was delivered next day. Minor hiccup in that the accompanying bag was missing. Quick email to Jake at EV Cable Hub and the bag arrived next working day. 1st class product and even better customer service. Thank you.
