Overview
Volkswagen have taken the campervan a step further with the ID.Buzz: an extra roomy luggage compartment, seating that adjusts around whatever the family is doing, and headlights better described as a pair of eyes, turning with you into a corner and picking out pedestrians at the roadside.
Charging is nothing like queuing at a petrol station. Plug it in when you get home, leave it overnight, and by morning the car is full.
The ID.Buzz charges on Type 2, and we stock the cables to match:

Built to take the weight of a car, so you can drive over the cable without damaging it (protection against pressure).

Rated IP55, with the Type 2 to 3-Pin version rated IP67, and built to operate from -30°C to +60°C, so it charges reliably through UK rain, frost and summer heat.

3-pin option for home sockets
Choose the 3-pin version to top up from a standard UK domestic socket when there is no wallbox nearby. It is a separate cable option, not an attachment.

Three-phase option
Pick the 32A three-phase version to charge at up to 22kW where a three-phase supply is available. The single-phase versions charge at up to 7.2kW on a standard home wallbox.
Installation
- 01Unlock the car - most won't accept a cable while locked.
- 02Wallbox end first, then the car. Push until the latch clicks.
- 03Check the car shows a charging state before you walk away.
- 04Coil loosely into the bag - no tight figure-of-eights.
