Overview
Skywell sells the BE11 in Britain through a small importer network, and that is the practical reason to keep a spare cable rather than relying on the one that came with the car. A replacement through a franchise with a handful of UK sites takes longer than it would from a mainstream brand.
The car is ordinary to charge. It uses a Type 2 socket, so a standard Type 2 to Type 2 lead is the right part and the 32amp single-phase version covers it. There is no proprietary Skywell connector and no reason to buy through the dealer.
One thing worth checking on any car from a smaller importer: what actually came in the boot. Some cars ship with a granny charger only, some with a Type 2 lead, and some with neither.
Every cable is CE and TUV certified, IP55 rated and carries a two-year warranty.

First class service
First class service. Ordered 15m cable and it was delivered next day. Minor hiccup in that the accompanying bag was missing. Quick email to Jake at EV Cable Hub and the bag arrived next working day. 1st class product and even better customer service. Thank you.
