Overview
Lucid builds some of the largest batteries on the road, and that changes the arithmetic on a charging cable more than it does for almost any other brand.
European cars use a Type 2 socket. On a normal single-phase British wallbox a 32amp lead is the ceiling, and on a pack this size that means a full charge is a long overnight rather than a quick one. Where a property has three-phase power, the 22kW cable is one of the few genuine upgrades on our site: on a very large battery the difference is measured in hours, not minutes.
Do not buy an American cable. Lucid uses a different connector in North America, so US leads and US advice do not transfer.
Every cable is CE and TUV certified, IP55 rated and carries a two-year warranty.

Features
-
Among the largest batteries on the road
Pack size is what makes the cable choice matter here more than on an ordinary EV.
-
Three-phase is a genuine upgrade on this car
On a very large battery the difference between single and three-phase is measured in hours.
-
UK cars use Type 2, not the North American connector
US leads and US advice do not transfer to a European Lucid.
-
32amp is the ceiling on a normal home supply
British houses are single-phase, and on one the car will use all of a 32amp lead.
Installation
- 01Unlock the car - most won't accept a cable while locked.
- 02Wallbox end first, then the car. Push until the latch clicks.
- 03Check the car shows a charging state before you walk away.
- 04Coil loosely into the bag - no tight figure-of-eights.

First class service
First class service. Ordered 15m cable and it was delivered next day. Minor hiccup in that the accompanying bag was missing. Quick email to Jake at EV Cable Hub and the bag arrived next working day. 1st class product and even better customer service. Thank you.
