Overview
We stock two 15m EV charging cables at EV Cable Hub:
- Type 2 to Type 2, 15m: for connecting to any EV charging station, at home or in public.
- Type 2 to 3-pin, 15m: for charging your electric car from a standard 3-pin plug.
Fifteen metres solves one specific problem: the car cannot be parked close to the charging point. Awkward bay layouts, a charger on the wrong side of the garage, a shared post two spaces down. Rather than reversing in circles, you simply run the cable. These are heavy-duty leads, and they store neatly in a carry case, so the extra length does not become a tangle in the boot.

Built to take the weight of a car, so you can drive over the cable without damaging it (protection against pressure).

3-pin option for home sockets
Choose the 3-pin version to top up from a standard UK domestic socket when there is no wallbox nearby. It is a separate cable option, not an attachment.
Installation
- 01Unlock the car - most won't accept a cable while locked.
- 02Wallbox end first, then the car. Push until the latch clicks.
- 03Check the car shows a charging state before you walk away.
- 04Coil loosely into the bag - no tight figure-of-eights.
