We started Voltarc because we were frustrated. As engineers who had worked on powertrain systems and consumer electronics, we kept buying EV charging products that felt like afterthoughts — stiff cables, blinking LEDs, apps that required accounts to charge a car.
We believed the hardware that connects a car to the grid deserved the same intentionality as the car itself. So in 2021, we rented a small workshop in Stuttgart and started from first principles.
Three years later, every product we make is tested to 10,000 mating cycles, sealed to IP67, and covered by a five-year warranty that does not require you to fill in a form. If it breaks, we replace it. No questions.
