It gives you an ordinary UK socket at the charge port, which is more useful than it sounds the first time the power goes off at home.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBefore you order:\u003c\/strong\u003e This lead fits the electric GV70 only. The petrol and diesel versions have no charge port to plug it into.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eSwitching it on\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlug it into the Type 2 charge port and press the button on the Type 2 connector. The same button turns it off.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eWhat it will run\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUp to 3kW through a UK 3-pin outlet, or 3.6kW on CEE and Schuko, depending on the car. A 60W laptop charger, a 45W cool box and LED lights barely register. A standard 3kW kettle is right at the limit through the 3-pin socket, so a 2kW travel kettle is the safer choice, and the same goes for fan heaters on full.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eWhich car it fits\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGenesis Electrified GV70. The car decides whether discharge is available, so the lead only works on models that support V2L. There is no voltage or phase synchronisation, so doing it can seriously damage both the car and the other system, and it will void your vehicle warranty.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eThe lead
